You should take a few moments to look in your mouth for the following signs and symptoms that are associated with oral cancer.
Sign and Symptoms

Did you notice if you have:
- Sores in the mouth that have not healed within 2 weeks?
- Dark red or white patches in the mouth?
- Lumps located on the lips, tongue, throat, cheek or neck?
- Bleeding in the mouth?
- Sore throat and difficulty with swallowing?
If you notice any of these signs or symptoms, please speak to your dental or health care provider as soon as you are able. Be sure to ask for an oral cancer screening at your dental or medical clinic.
